Optimization of internal logistics – Trane Technologies
Trane technologies manufactures air conditioning units for buses, trains and light rail vehicles. After merging of the original production with compressor production, the company was plagued by inefficient warehouse processes and insufficient storage capacity, which led to higher logistics costs. Logio was approached to help identify potential and propose action plans to optimize internal logistics.

Most of the communication in production and warehouse was rather offline and lacked basic master data, including packing rules. However, even without a larger data base, we were able to gather the information ourselves and recommended a complete reorganization of the warehouse and logistics flows and processes to the company. This resulted in a projected productivity increase of up to 30%. Although the customer is currently undergoing major changes, we are keeping our fingers crossed that they will be able to implement our proposal in full in the future.
