
Traficon is a purely Czech retailer of tobacco products and printed materials. They approached us to help them streamline inventory management in their network of over 130 stores. The main objective was to increase the availability of the items with the largest share of turnover, and in turn reduce the value of tied-up capital in dead stock.

As part of the solution, we implemented our inventory management system, the main benefit of which is an optimised inventory structure of individual branches. The share of category A items in total inventory increased by 11 percentage points, while the share of category D items in total inventory decreased by 13 percentage points. Our solution enables centralized order management and the ability to manage the transport of goods between branches so that goods are always available where they are needed.
