
SKF is a leader in bearing production. The coronavirus crisis brought many changes that affected sales fundamentally. The supply chain flow was slowed down, sales channels were suddenly restricted, future demand and orders uncertain. Hence, the need for quick and effective adaptation to the current situation was eminent, and SKF approached us to help them to create a more agile process for short term sales forecast.

We created algorithm able to predict sales on the level of product line with a quite high precision. The forecast is able to extrapolate the future with up to 90% accuracy – even in these unstable times. Our common goal was to mitigate the impact of the crisis on the company’s business and its customers.
