
For almost one hundred years, Mondelēz International has been one of the world’s leading manufacturers of confectionery and baked products. Currently, it sells its products in 160 countries of the world. Its key brands in the Czech and Slovak markets include Milka and Figaro chocolates, Opavia, Milka, BeBe Dobré ráno, Kolonáda biscuits and Halls cough drops. We joined forces with Logio in 2011 in order to make promotional events planning more efficient. This cooperation continues to this day to our mutual satisfaction.

Mondelēz prepared three challenges for Logio – unify various forms of planning, optimize the promotional event approval process and improve sales planning accuracy. We unified the promotional and non-promotional forecast into a single system which facilitates communication between all departments from the production up to the financial department. For promotional events, we introduced new approval processes and improved their profitability. Before joining our forces, the sales planning accuracy equaled 50%. Thanks to the application of our intelligent systems, we managed to increase this number to 70%. The icing on the cake is that all this information is available, at any time, on a tablet and it is thus possible to perform immediate checks in the field.
