
GGT is one of the five most significant Slovak retail companies, with an annual turnover of over EUR 500M. With a network of more than 800 branches managed through 14 regional central warehouses, the implementation of software to manage supplies presented us with a great challenge. The aim was to optimize retail logistics, with an emphasis on process automation and costs savings.
We increased the company turnover by 5%, which represents an amount of roughly EUR 25M annually.
Thanks to our software, GGT forms a development forecast entirely automatically and based on at least a year‘s history, taking into account other factors such as seasonality, promotional sale or unexpected demand fluctuation. 60% of time when forming orders was saved by increasing process efficiency. An increase in the company turnover by 5%, which amounts to a sum of roughly EUR 25M annually, was a significant benefit. And all of this with a simultaneous decrease in supplies by 15%, which corresponds to a value of approximately EUR 1M.
