Distribution planning – logistics services
Only with a few customers can we be proud of such a long cooperation as with one of the main leaders in the distribution of vaccines in the Czech Republic. It all started in the moment when our client was dealing with the question of how to change a complicated manual distribution planning system. We recommended to our client a software tool called Roadnet, of which we are the official supplier in the Czech Republic, and this fifteen-year long cooperation lasts to our mutual satisfaction until today.

It takes the dispatcher only 30 minutes to plan routes using Roadnet for the entire customer network, which includes several hundreds of doctor’s practises.
Last year, our client was dealing with further challenges regarding not only the COVID-19 pandemic, but also the replacement of the central information system. Due to the growing pressure for flexibility and efficiency of distribution planning, we recommended our client to use another module of software solution Roadnet Transportation Suite, the so-called Territory Planner. This allows them to model the distribution at a tactical level, ie. for example, to set the optimal distribution regions according to the required criteria, verify the impacts of changes of the frequency of deliveries to the customer or perform other What-if analyses. All of this will allow the dispatching to react quickly to the new measures and find the optimal solution in the distribution of vaccines, which is a subject to very strict conditions.
