Storage optimization – ŠKODA AUTO
The largest car manufacturer in the Czech Republic needed design and help with implementation of a new automated small parts warehouse in Kvasiny.

Thanks to the automated warehouse, ŠKODA AUTO saves CZK 26 million every year.
In the framework of the main research team, we designed and implemented an automated warehouse which introduced fully-automated solution from receiving material from the supplier up to release of material in sequence onto the assembly line. The implemented solution contains 12 rack retrievers, 4 robotic arms and it saved 42 jobs. This project received the Professional Public Award during awarding the ELA’s European Logistics Awards in 2018.
