
The HARTMANN Group, operating worldwide, has a twenty-year tradition in the Czech Republic. The company is a leading manufacturer and distributor of medical and hygiene products. They turned to us to help them reduce time and streamline the process of finding spare parts in stock.
Thanks to the new reporting tool in Power BI we save the maintenance crew up to 1 hour a day.
The customer’s current tools used to search for spare parts did not provide sufficient and reliable information. It was therefore necessary to create a new tool. It works as a database of spare parts categories, which allows a quick and user-friendly search according to relevant attributes. In one place, the maintenance technician can clearly see which location the part is stored at, but also what the part looks like and what the current stock is. Due to the customer’s satisfaction with our solution, we will be collaborating in a follow-up project where we will focus on criticality assessment and spare parts inventory optimization.
