AL INVEST Břidličná, a.s. is a leading aluminium processor in the Czech Republic with a long history. The company has long been plagued by low logistics productivity, high inventories and material depreciation. For this reason, we have jointly developed a logistics concept for the future development of production, which defines the necessary changes to achieve better results.

Creating a long-term plant concept with three production divisions was a major challenge. Through a sophisticated analysis of the current situation, we designed several variants of plant master plans to eliminate current inefficiencies and optimize logistics flows. In the end, the one with the construction of a central shipping warehouse was the winner and will free up the most space for future growth by consolidating material flow. We developed the concept in detail, including material flows, processes, warehouse layouts, their visualization and ROI calculations. We believe that the implementation of this study is one of the prerequisites for Al Invest to capitalize on its full growth potential in the market.
